Hi people again! I was writing yesterday about my dilemma about which motorcycle to buy but I forgot to mention another strong candidate!
The QJ Motor SRT 550SX shown bellow
The reason I didn’t mention it at all in the last article was that I saw a video presentation of the SRT 550S (almost similar to the SX shown above) and in that video the moto was in a brown color, it looked as if someone had diarrhea on it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRtgLCCCgWo )
They name it of course “Yellow” but it is ultra ugly no matter what the name of the color is!
In the picture above we can see the 550S in “Yellow” color.
This motorcycle has like A LOT of features from factory, key features include:
- Grip warmer
- Seat warmer
- Luggage rack system (both sides and top)
- 20.5L fuel tank
- 3.8L / 100 KM fuel consumption (rough estimation 540km autonomy)
- Front dual disk brakes with ABS
- Rear single disk brake with ABS
- LED lights
- 554cc engine
- 47 HP @ 7500RPM
And many more!
But you have questions, I do too! First of all, I didn’t knew QJ Motor before I have started looking for my motorcycle update since September 2024.
So who or what is QJ Motor?
QJ Motor is part of the larger Qianjiang Group, a major player in the global motorcycle industry. Based in China, QJ Motor is known for producing a wide range of motorcycles, from small commuter bikes to larger adventure models like the SRT 550 series. The company is especially prominent in the Asian and European markets and is expanding its presence globally.

Qianjiang acquired Benelli in 2005, and since then, Benelli’s design expertise has influenced many of QJ Motor’s models. The collaboration allows QJ Motor to incorporate European design and engineering into its offerings, resulting in motorcycles that blend Italian flair with Chinese manufacturing efficiency.
QJ Motor’s lineup includes a variety of motorcycles, ranging from streetfighters to cruisers, adventure bikes, and scooters. They focus on delivering high-quality, cost-effective options for riders, often using advanced components like Bosch electronics and Brembo brakes in their premium models.

So QJ Motor is a big brand in China that have hit the European markets in 2022, it has aggressive prices in order to compete. The SRT 550SX seems to have all the features I want to have but one, I would LOVE it if it had keyless either 2.5 or 3.0.
So today I have visited a store that had it, I sat on it and it gave me nice vibes!
I could sit comfortable, I could reach the ground properly and it has very nice features for its price range!
So today, October 16th 2024 I have given my info to the store so they will start the procedure for me to buy the motorcycle! The procedure can take up to two weeks unfortunately….so I will keep you posted guys!
